Currently, I think I am currently at I1 or I2 because I can link some simple sentences and ask simple sentences, but I am not at the level of asking a variety of questions on the spot. To help me be able to achieve my goal of I3 or higher, I can start having more frequent conversations in Spanish that consist of answering and asking questions that are at a more challenging level of what I can do now.

Articles from Class
Today, I read two articles posted on the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan's website. The two articles I read were "How To Camoflauge Dark Circles with Red Lipstick" and "20 Excuses We Have to Buy More Clothes".
The first article was about how to hide hider pis dark circles. It mentions how professional makeup artists use this technique all the time for even the worst cases of bags. One should keep in mind of the primary and secondary color wheel. For example, of one's eye bags are purple in tint, they should use a product with a yellowish tint in formula. Also, if someone's dark circles are on the blue side, they should use a orange formula. (Side Note: One should also use a tint that cordinates with their skin tone: reds for deep skin, orange for medium to tan skin, and peaches for lighter skin). The directions/steps said to apply with a sponge and blend carefully with a brush. Then, you spread it evenly. Apply foundation/bb cream/cc cream over the base area, and add powder so it lasts a long time. Lastly, apply makeup as usual!
The second article was about the many ways we make excuses for excessive shopping. The excuses ranged from "it is fashionable" to "I can always return it". We all know you'll never return it. My personal favorite is number 10, "I need something new because I have a wedding/job interview/birthday" (choose what applies). I personally do ten to buy new clothes for every new occasion I end up going to.

Activity Log 8/22-8/26
~
This week I decided to venture off into the world of TELENOVELAS. I recently started "Maria la Del Barrio." It is about a poor girl who has been welcomed into a rich family, falling inlove with the youngest son. I've only had the chance to watch episodes 1 and 2 so far but I do enjoy the sort of "exaggerated" acting and stuff.
I also have been listening to Spanish Versions of songs I like, both KPOP and regular English music. I have compiled a list of my top 10 favorite covers this week.
TOP TEN SPANISH COVERS OF SONGS I ENJOY
- "Miracles in December" by EXO (covered by: Kevin Karla & La Banda)
- "Missing You" by 2NE1 (covered by: Kevin Karla & La Banda)

First Activity Log
I legitimately spent over 40 minutes listening to all the songs on the Latino Playlist on Spotify. I didn't look at the English Lyrics of course.

My favorite Spanish song at the moment that I have been listening to for a while is the Spanish version of Shakira's "Loca."
After listening to the various playlist, I realized that there are many genre's within this one title of music, like other coutries' music as well.
I did spend another 35 minutes watching KPOP (Korean Pop) artists cover many songs when there was a large concert in Mexico. aMy favorite song that wasn't on the playlist was "Sabor A Mi" by Luis Miguel.I highly recommend the cover of this song by the group EXO when they performed in Mexico! Another fave is Beast's Yoseob, Infinite's Sungkyu, and BAP's Youngjae cover of
Corre! I 10 out of 10 recommend watching all the performances from this concert.
